A practical RUFFL routine for cleansing, conditioning, styling and protecting textured hair.
Wash day · Cleanse
Start at the scalp.
Wet hair thoroughly, then massage Anti-Frizz Shampoo into the scalp with your fingertips. Let the lather slide through the lengths as you rinse—there is no need to rough up the curls. If your scalp has heavy build-up, cleanse a second time.
Wash day · Condition
Detangle while there is slip.
Apply Flexi Conditioner to soaking-wet hair and work in sections. Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, beginning at the ends and moving upward. For waves, rinse out most of it; for curls, rinse out about half; for coils, leave more in to hold moisture.
Style · Define
Use gel on damp curls.
Section your hair, smooth Curl Contour Hair Gel through each section, then scrunch upward. Waves usually need a smaller amount; curls and coils can take more. Avoid touching while drying so the curl pattern can set without extra frizz.
Everyday · Protect
Reduce friction overnight.
Gather dry curls loosely at the crown with a soft satin scrunchie, or use a satin pillowcase. Keep the style loose enough to avoid stretching the curl pattern. In the morning, release, shake gently at the roots and refresh only the areas that need it.
Drying
Skip the rough towel.
Blot or scrunch excess water with a microfibre towel or a soft cotton T-shirt. Air-dry or diffuse on low heat and low airflow. Once fully dry, gently scrunch out the gel cast for soft, bouncy curls with hold.
Between washes
Refresh selectively.
Do not soak the entire head by default. Mist flattened sections with water, add a tiny amount of conditioner or gel if needed, and reshape with your fingers. A focused refresh keeps the routine lighter and avoids unnecessary build-up.
